Communications Committee:

Will create and maintain the SFNA website, keep posters at the South Freeport Post Office and The Village Store up to date, handle publicity for activities, and deliver notices door-to-door in the village area.

Historical Committee:

Will inventory and collect photos, stories and historical information about South Freeport with the intent of creating a database, posting items on the website, and sharing information with members.
Current members: Ruth Gruninger, Laura McDill, Nita Voskian and Mary Eliza Wengren.
This Committee is beginning an oral history project to interview South Freeport residents. Please contact us if you would like to become involved.

Town Liason Committee:

|
Will act as liaison to the District Three Councilperson and the Town of Freeport, monitor meetings of Town boards and committees with pertain to South Freeport, and communicate to members about town affairs which affect South Freeport.

Will act as liaison to the Town’s Traffic and Parking Committee, and communicate to members about traffic and parking issues which affect South Freeport.
